DOKOH 

      A type of necklace with maximum of 3  silver or gold plates hanging.  During the ancient Malay, it symbolizes power and status.  Nowadays, dokoh is only used for official and wedding ceremonies. 




CUCUK SANGGUL 

         Hair pins decorated as well as to fastened the braided hair. It is worn for official and wedding ceremonies. There are different types of cucuk sanggul, such as  cucuk sanggul berjurai, daun pecah tujuh, cucuk sanggul kipas, etc. 



TENGKOLOK

       
      Tengkolok is a type of headgear worn by the Malay man. It is also known as destar or tanjak. Tengkolok  was used as a part of their daily garment for high class people (especially the royals.).Tengkolok is said to be influenced from merchandisers  from the Arabs, Persians and Indian Muslim. Nowadays, tengkolok is used in official and wedding ceremonies.


 

SONGKOK 

       It is a type of headgear for Malay man. It was said to be worn to replace Tengkolok.  Nowadays the songkok is worn for official ceremonies, religious festivals and weddings.  



FOOTWEAR 

  
      During the early Malays most of the commoners were bare footed. However, the most common type of footwear worn in the os were terompah, slipper and capal.
